The Reason

I think I'm getting up there with blogs.

I thought two was enough... Til I heard that sermon, put its advice into practice, and found myself wanting to share what I'd learned.

What is this blog for?

Thoughts from my quiet place, in the morning... A quiet place that I've had a hard time locating all my life. A quiet place that I couldn't seem to stay in once I got there. I think you know what I'm talking about.

Morning devotions. My time with the Lord before beginning the day.

"My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord..."

I want that to be my pledge. This morning. And every morning.

I want to share the nuggets of truth that I find each morning from now on. That's what this blog is for. 

I owe a personal thanks to the Nebblett family for your sermon "God's Word: Dead or Alive?" It's because of God working through you, and my hearing that sermon, that I started on this journey.
